Auma
Auma Project Overview
The Auma Project consists of 4,250 hectares of Crown claims with a contiguous 7,500-hectare MEA on Inuit Owned Land. Despite the presence of favorable geology and known mineralization, large portions of the Auma Property remain underexplored, providing Blue Star Gold with continued exploration upside.
Bamako Zones 1, 2 & 3 are gold targets characterized by sulphide-rich quartz veining and associated vein selvages within mafic volcanic rocks.
- Limited historical drilling intercepted 15.3 g/t Au over 2.6m and 2.4 g/t Au over 4m (AR083564)
- Blue Star prospecting has confirmed historical grades and returned several samples >100 g/t Au including 151.5 g/t Au
Identified through prospecting in 2025, Penny Lane returned strong copper and gold values with elevated silver
- Up to 7.64 g/t Au with 4.2% Cu, as well as 19.94 g/t Ag
- The presence of dalmatianite, sodium depletion and high grade copper values in grab samples (up to 9.99% copper from Cairo, up to 5.17% from Stu) make these both promising VMS targets
- Massive sulphides with anomalous copper found 300m along strike to the south
The Mary Lake/Hole Lake trend contains extensive oxide iron formations and represents a favourable setting for multiple types of gold and base metal deposits.
- Historical drilling at Hole Lake intersected stringer to massive sulphides with magnetite rich iron formation (AR080483)
- Limited historical sampling of highly weathered exposures at Mary Lake returned weak gold, zinc and copper (AR082917)
The Free, Kole and Hew zones represent an additional style of gold mineralization on the project, distinct from the Bamako zones
- Blocky and acicular mineralized bands in carbonate-altered shear zones are traceable for over 60m
- Limited historical sampling has returned anomalous gold (AR083134)
